Farnborough International Airshow, which takes place from July 11 to 17, is set yet again to attract a large number of businesses and visitors to one of the biggest opportunity for the global aerospace community to come together. Over 100,000 trade delegates are expected to participate in this year’s main event on the aerospace calendar.

A number of new pavilions will be on full display, with China, Austria, Brazil, the Republic of Ireland and South Korea showcasing their aerospace capabilities for first time, bringing to 22 the number of international pavilions. On top of these, the organizers had confirmed 94 aircraft for the static display, among them two Airbus A380s and two A350s.

Amid the many zones of interest, a special focus will be given to the unmanned sector. This will not only showcase the latest technological advances but provide an open forum for discussions regarding the regulatory and ethical issues surrounding the adoption of these new technologies.
