Terms and conditions

AerospaceU is a website owned and developed by KnowledgeOne. Access to all of KnowledgeOne’s online services and products is provided on the condition that users have read and agreed to abide by the following set of Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are designed to inform users about what they may or  may not do with the content provided to them as part of their registration. Permitted Use

A registered user may make unlimited use of the online content, including: display and view information, download, print or email content that the user is registered for, for the purposes of research or private study and not for commercial use, or use that may  cause KnowledgeOne a loss in revenue.

Prohibited Use

The registered user will be given a personal username and password for the purpose of gaining access to the online course(s). Users must not, under any circumstance, transmit this information to any other individual(s) in an attempt to bypass the registration or purchasing procedures for any of KnowledgeOne’s products. Any violation of this license agreement will result in the termination of the user’s account without refund.

Service Availability

KnowledgeOne accepts no liability if access is suspended or interrupted or a fault or defect occurs which prevents access to its servers. KnowledgeOne will do its best to provide uninterrupted access to its online products. KnowledgeOne reserves the right to refuse access to any user(s), at any time.

Liability

Although KnowledgeOne has taken reasonable care to ensure that course information, data, and other material made available online is error-free, it accepts no responsibility for corruption of the information, data, and other material thereafter, including, but not limited to any defects caused by the transmission or processing of the information, data, and other material. KnowledgeOne will not be liable for any problem related to any network or technical malfunction of computer equipment, software, or traffic congestion on the internet, or failure of email, or member accounts.

Refund Policy 

Requests for refunds must be made in writing and must meet the conditions listed below.

A full refund will be issued to users who withdraw from the course and request a refund, provided the course has not been accessed. A full refund request may be submitted up to ten working days after a purchase confirmation has been issued.

If the user paid at KnowledgeOne’s office, the user is given a receipt with his or her username and password. If the user paid online, an email confirmation with username and password is sent upon payment.

Please send an email to refund@knowledgeone.ca. Information to be included in theemail :

  • Your full name (first and last name)
  • Your mailing address
  • Your course user ID
  • Your receipt number (e.g. 1000-ONC-4556544)
  • Your telephone number
  • Your email address
  • Name of the course for which you are requesting a refund
  • Reason for refund
  • Credit card information that was used for initial purchase

If the refund is approved, you will be refunded the full amount of the course, less any applicable service fees deriving from the original transaction, in the method for which the purchase was made. This excludes wire transfer payments for which refunds will be sent by cheque. Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks of processing time for refunds on wire transfer payments.

In case of unforeseeable events that prohibit a student from following a course, extended access to the course can be granted; however, no refund will be issued.

Kindly note that all refunds are subject to validation and are at the discretion of KnowledgeOne.

All content included on KnowledgeOne’s websites, including text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, animations, audio and video clips, digital downloads, data compilations and software, is the property of KnowledgeOne or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws.
